I am a wildlife buff, who has realized that it is just not enough to talk about environment, wildlife etc, but that we need to step beyond that and take action. Remember Amir Khan's final words in "Rang De Basanti"? I have started taking action - by way of empowering the forest department - lowest levels. Result = the morale of those temporary workers have gone up phenomenally ! Ongoing quest - to provide life insurance to the above people and to set up a wildlife rehab centre in the western ghats.
